How does windscreen repair work?
1st Glass uses advanced technology to force air out of the glass defect and replace it with special resin matching your windscreens’s tint, strength and light refraction.
- It may be possible to repair rather than replace your damaged windscreen.
- For example, if the damage is in one of the four areas shown on the windscreen diagram above and can be contained within the diameter shown in each area, the damage may be repairable.
- Your vehicle will fail the M.O.T. if there is damage that cannot be contained within the diameters specified or a combination of minor damage areas which seriously restricts the driver's view.
- A windscreen repair will save you the inconvenience of a replacement and will take around 30 minutes to complete.
